Julia Losada

María is currently working as Manager in Capital Markets in EY. She has a vast international background, having lived in Spain, Holland, US, Peru and UK.
In every location she has organised fundraising and social events, an example of success is the Peruvian ‘I Feria de Abril en Lima’ organised in 2014 that congregated more than 600 people and the event raised more than $20,000 net proceeds which went directly to the “Colegio Corazon Jesus de Jicamarca” (Jesuitas).
After working for Transaction Advisory Services and Audit services in EY during more that 5 years in Madrid (Spain) and in London, Julia is now working in Media Sector within Publicis Groupe.
Julia has a varied experience in organising social events during her time at the University of Córdoba and University of Swansea (UK), in addition she has organised social and leisure events for EY employees during her time at EY Madrid.
About us
Flamenco & Solidaity (“F&S”) was born of a shared passion and love for flamenco music and a desire to help those most in need through the diffusion of our passion, flamenco.
We are a group of enthusiastic professionals with a common interest with a extensive experience in the production of events from conception through to completion (exhibition and fairs, festivals, conferences, fundraising and social events).
The purpose the events we organise is to raise money for a good cause, we think that one of the most essential causes is children and their education. Funds raised by F&S will go to finance cultural, educational and recreational activities for children. These organisations are targeted on high risk families with young children and are actively involved to help out on projects in disadvantaged neighbourhood and fight against social exclusion.
